CAMP DESCRIPTION:  

GOAL

The SSFHC is designed to improve the skill level and conceptual knowledge of field hockey players of all ages. Each camper will be exposed to a variety of basic & new skills and techniques. They will also be given the opportunity to participate in activities that will enhance their current playing level.

AGES

The camp is open to players entering second grade through twelfth grade. Participants will be divided according to their current skill level and/or age.

    • Shin Gaurds
    • Googles Highly Recommended
    • Goalkeepers must have their own equipment

CAMP DIRECTOR & HEAD COACH: DAWN CHAMBERLIN

Serving as the head coach of the Salisbury University Field Hockey Team, Dawn Chamberlin ranks among the most successful coaches in the school’s history. After 32 seasons, the Sea Gulls have qualified for the NCAA Tournament 32 times, with 15 appearances to the FINAL FOUR. She has produced 156 All-Conference players, 100 National All-Americans, and 137 AllRegion players. Chamberlin has also been named NFHCA South Region Coach of the Year twelve of the last seventeen years and is the 1995-2005,2008, 2009, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018 & 2019 conference coach of the year.

The Sea Gulls finished 2003, 2004, 2005, & 2009 seasons as the NCAA Division III National Champions. 

Chamberlin was named the National Coach of the Year in 2004, 2005, & 2009.

In 2009, Chamberlin was inducted into the National Field Hockey Coaches Hall of Fame. 

CLINIC DESCRIPTION

This clinic is designed for experienced players entering 9th-12th grades that aspire to play and train at a high level.
